Large Bowl Just Glazed

I spent the morning at the kitchen table again, too cold to go downstairs. I glazed 3 bowls. This one is my favorite. It is a biggy and should hold 10-12 cups after firing. It is glazed very simply in green and purple. I think it looks pretty in the shadow from the sunny window which kept my back warm while I worked. I will finish loading the kiln today and fire it up first thing in the morning. Now I am heading off to Heartland Bead Market to get findings for my new pendants.

gorgeous bowl! i'm glad i found your blog - i am a bit pottery obsessed and always have to bring back some bowls and plates from whichever country I travel too - it's nice to see how they start out and then the finished product!

Congratulations on your etsy front page. Photos on the internet are so deceiving, for some reason your bowl looks smaller than you say, I am so glad you gave the size - nice design to your glaze on that one. I just love the turquoise mug below - that being one of my favorite colors, but I like how the colors blended and the matt surface.
