New Scraffito Mugs

I unloaded my kiln last night and was pretty pleased with the results. In this load were mugs, lidded jars, trays and little bowls. This kiln load was soo full I was really worried that I had created a problem. I was sure things were going to be stuck together or that there were going to be glaze issues. Happily though, things turned out fine. Here are a few of my favorite mugs, I especially like the green one. I have posted these to my etsy shop along with some trays and a jar, but most of the work from this kiln load will be headed to Eclectics for the Open House on the 22nd. I will also be a part of the KC Clay Guild Holiday Tour which will be on Dec 5th & 6th. I am hoping that I can get another round of pots thrown, carved, bisqued, glazed and fired again before the 22nd. Dang that is only 11 days. I'd better get busy.
